Meet our team

Pastor Joe has been serving as Lead Pastor at Faith Community Church since April 2018. He attended Lee University where he graduated with a degree in Pastoral Ministry. He served as a student pastor for several years from North Carolina to Texas before he and  his wife, Karissa, settled down here at Faith Community as Lead Pastors. They have three children, Elynne, Liam and Lucas. 

Karissa has served as the worship pastor here at Faith since fall of 2020. She grew up in Southern California and moved to beautiful Tennessee her senior year of high school. She attended Englewood Church of God where she met Joe. They both attended Lee University together and soon began dating and married in 2011. After serving in student ministry for several years they settled down here in Talbott, TN with their three beautiful children, Elynne, Liam and Lucas. 

Josh and Jantzen have been serving as Faith Kids leaders since March of 2021. They have been attending Faith Community since the summer of 2020. They have a love for Kid Ministry and have a passion for leading their students to be good stewards of Christ. Josh and Jantzen met at church and have been married since October 2018. They have a beautiful, blended family with their three children, Katlyn, Blaklie, and Ashton.

Brittany has served as the Faith Kids Jr Director since Spring 2022. Before taking her roll as the Faith Kids Jr Director she served in leadership in both Faith Kids and Faith Kids Jr since 2018. She grew up in the Morristown area and has attended Faith Community Church since the church was established in 1992. She attended Carson Newman University where she studied Education and has been  a Math Teacher at Morristown West High School for the last 15 years. She met her husband, Todd who oversees our FC Groups, at West and they married in June 2011. They have 3 kids, Caroline, Phillip and Joseph.

Phil Morrisett has been attending Faith Community Church since it first began in 1992. He has seen this church from all angles. He serves faithfully along with wife, Debbie, and they have 2 adult children and 6 grandchildren! His daughter, Brittany serves on the Faith Kids Team.
